In the face of frequent natural disasters that plague Bolapapu Village, Kulawi District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, the local community has found a strong defense: pampa. This ancestral heritage, a traditional agricultural system managed by women, has become a primary food source and a symbol of community resilience in the face of changing times. The fertile, nutrient-rich pampa lands not only guarantee food security but also serve as a last resort during natural disasters.
Unfortunately, over time, the sustainability of pampa has been threatened by modernization and easy access to agricultural products from outside the village. The convenience of buying vegetables from traveling vendors has led many women to neglect pampa. However, this choice not only threatens the village's food security but also biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
Fortunately, the spirit of cooperation among the PKK women of Desa Bolapapu remains strong. Through the IDEAKSI program, the enthusiasm for managing pampa has been reignited. The program fosters community-wide collaboration to create sustainable disaster mitigation solutions, empowering PKK women's groups to lead innovative initiatives.

More than just a field, pampa is a source of life and hope for the people of Bolapapu. Its existence has had a broad positive impact, from food security to environmental conservation. It is a symbol of women's empowerment in Bolapapu. By managing pampa, women not only ensure family food security but also contribute to environmental conservation and strengthening the village economy.
