She is fondly called Grandma Cambang by her families and neighbours in Tampalang Village in Mamuju. She is 65 years old and still active in doing household chores. She has an eye condition where only one eye can see clearly, while another is blind.
She lives with her older sister who is bed-ridden. So, when the earthquake hit the area, her sister was not able to move to evacuate. She called her nextdoor neighbour for help.
Now living in temporary shelter with only tarpaulin to protect the people from heat and rain, she still carries out her chores. She is seen carrying water from nearby river with jerry can, when YEU medical team visited her tent.
