YAKKUM Emergency Unit (YEU) is currently developing guidelines for inclusive disaster response through series of discussion with communities, humanitarian organisations, and government agencies who share common concerns on PLWHA (people living with HIV / AIDS), children, persons with disabilities, elderly people, pregnant women and lactating women. The discussion on disability was held on 30 March with active participations from Social Agency of Yogyakarta Province, Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASB-Indonesia), Ciqal, Deaf Art Community, Sigab and YAKKUM Rehabilitation Centre (PRY). The output of the meeting was recommendations for inclusive measures during evacuation, in the displacement setting, post-displacement and in the relocation setting.
